About Martha Tisdale

Martha Tisdale

I was born in Columbia, Tennessee and reared and currently reside in Macon, Georgia, USA. I drew at and early age and decided that art would be my vocation in A.L. Miller High School in Macon, Georgia. I pursued an Art Education degree beginning at David Lipscomb University, Nashville, TN in 1963; transferred to Auburn University, Auburn AL in 1965 with a BS Education degree majoring in Art 1967, and returned to obtain a Masters Art Education from Georgia State University 1985 to 1989. The time between bachelors and masters degrees was spent teaching at Butler High School, Huntsville AL, art design for my husband's cable programming venture, rearing a family,conducting art classes at the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences, teaching in...
