The time between bachelors and masters degrees was spent teaching at Butler High School, Huntsville AL, art design for my husband's cable programming venture, rearing a family, conducting art classes at the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences, teaching in the summer Pegasus Program at Mercer University Macon, volunteering for Bibb County Public Schools' Partners in Education, taking painting workshops from renowned artists in Myrtle Beach, SC and other locations, taking etching from printmaker Tom Prochaska at Wesleyan College, exhibiting in outdoor and juried art exhibits in the southeast, and working in my fathers's sign business as pattern maker/designer.
